Dr. Ron Worb, DVM

Veterinarian: Chief of Staff

Dr. Worb graduated as a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in 1983.

 

Care, compassion and commitment to ongoing Continuing Education in the veterinary profession are all important to Dr. Worb, so he can provide our patients with the most current treatment modalities. His special areas of interest are Dermatology, Behavioral Medicine and Oncology/Cancer Care. He was proud when asked to present a lecture at an American Association of Anxiety Disorders conference in San Diego. His topic 'Anxiety in Pets' was greeted with standing room only.

 

Dr. Worb has a busy family life with his wife, kids and his senior dog, April. Dr. Worb enjoys an active lifestyle. He regularly commutes to the hospital by bike and is passionate about playing hockey and road cycling in his spare time.

Dr. Catherine Paquin, B.Sc., DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Catherine Paquin received her Bachelor of Science (with distinction) from the College Universitaire de Saint-Boniface in 2002 and obtained her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Faculte de Medecine Veterinaire in Saint-Hyacinthe, Quebec in 2007. Dr. Paquin offers fluent bilingual services (Francais, English).

 

Committed to excellence, Dr. Paquin believes in a client-focused approach for all her appointments.

 

Among her areas of special interest are preventative medicine, surgery, dentistry, and compassionate care.

 

She currently shares her home with her husband, two young children and cat Tiloup. She enjoys spending time at the lake and taking in Manitoba's many festivals.

Abby

Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT), Nutrition Coach

Abby graduated from the AHT program in 2010. She joined the AAHWC team in 2013.

 

Abby enjoys all things about being a RVT, from collecting lab samples, anesthetic procedures, client education, chemotherapy and more recently she's found a love of pet nutition.

 

Abby is a Certified Nutrition Coach and is working towards attaining her Vet Tech Speciality (VTS) in nutrition. She is a firm believer that nutrition plays a key role in our patient's lives.

 

Abby shares her home with her husband and daughter. She enjoys reading, crochet and singing.

She can often be heard around the clinic carrying a tune.
